That's hot! We are still in Arizona (about 50 miles from the Mexican border). June is the hottest month since the monsoons don't really get going until July/August which helps to cool things down.
I know that Cuenca will be quite different and might take some getting used to. I like the hot weather (although 110 is a bit much). I'll need to bring clothes with me for a cooler climate, but one I'm sure I'll enjoy especially for walking around town.
