Edificio Santa Maria

It's been such a long time since I've created a blog post (with pictures). My camera stopped working two months ago and I just recently received the batteries that I ordered. I'd better order new batteries now so I can have a lot on hand!

Now, for the fun part. Pictures!!

We moved into our apartment four weeks ago and are really happy here. It feels like home. I've taken pictures of the inside and the outside of our apartment.

Enjoy!

We live in the Santa Maria building (Edificio Santa Maria). It is located near the University of Cuenca and not far from the Tomebamba River. Here are pictures of the building and the second floor where we live.

We can look out our bedroom window to the little Italian restaurant (La Piastra) on the street level to see if it's open or not!

We can walk everywhere from this location. I'll post more pictures of our neighborhood on the next blog post.

  6. Jay,

We pay $350 a month for rent plus $86 for the building fee (which includes water & electricity).
