Yes We Have No Bananas!

There was a song that was popular years ago which said that "Yes we have no bananas".  Well in Ecuador you won't hear that song, as there are plenty of bananas here.  In fact, Ecuador is the largest producer of bananas in the world.

 We love bananas and eat them every day.  I put them in my morning smoothie, and Mike eats them as a snack.  Why am I talking so much about bananas, you may ask.

Well, the Ministry of Tourism in Ecuador has just started a campaign using bananas as its ambassador.  They have re-invented the sticker they place on each individual banana with a special bar code.  When you scan the bar code with your smart phone, a video plays promoting different adventures and directs viewers to the official tourism website of Ecuador.
